When Life stops Smiling At You

Many a time we are left in a situation where we have to make a decision. A really tough one!  We make a decision and regret it. After all the decision was ours right? So what’s the point crying over the split milk? Last night I was watching Little Manhattan. If a ten year old can have so many perspectives of life, what is stopping us from enjoying life the way it is. We prefer being an abject rather than ameliorating our situations. Sometimes we have no clue how things change in and around us. Moments of mirth, moments of joy fade in a blink of an eye. And there you are, all set for the raging battle of your lifetime. Certainly it’s not easy to cope up with life when it treats you with failures, bruises, wounds and heartaches. But it happens to everyone. We crib as if we are the only sufferers in this whole wide world. Some are just good at hiding it. But everybody is in pain. It is abstruse to comprehend the protocol of life. Mostly we end up hurting ourselves because we carry a chimera(fancy) of things that are pure fallacies. It’s better to think logically about things around you. Coherent thoughts and desires will harm you less. It’s good to be a narcissist sometimes and falling into complacency if it can make you feel better. The view of this 19 year old isn’t going to make any discrepancy to the myriad of astute people out there. I agree there’s a long way to go for me. See more of this world. But this is a big world so neither I want to limit my thoughts nor limit my words. So what I am trying to convey is, there is much more out there…more imperative things. It’s all about setting your priorities and focusing on your target. For instance, getting through 686 pages of Norman Lewis overnight is quiet a herculean task. But hey! the struggles are never going to cease but neither should your endeavors. No matter if Life has stopped smiling at you the way it did before but now it’s your turn to smile back at it…:) :) So stop pampering your wounds and go get a life for yourself!!  #HEaDfOrABliSSfulLiFE
